Recipe: Copycat Version of Cheesecake Factory's Buffalo Blasts

Hello anyone reading this! Yes, its been a while again. To try & get in the swing of "blogging things" again, I have a copycat recipe for you!

Buffalo Blasts from Cheesecake Factory in Buffalo, NY back in 2009.

Here is my version of it:

Ingredients:
  • 1 Thin sliced chicken breast
  • Wonton wrappers
  • "Mexican blend" cheese
  • Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce (the exact same kind Cheesecake Factory uses)
  • Plain and Italian style breadcrumbs. (I used panko.)
  • 1 Egg white
  • Water for sealing edges of wonton

Process:

Boil & shred chicken breast. Approximately 10 minutes for a thin sliced breast.

Add approximately 4 Tbsp of Frank's Buffalo Sauce to chicken.

Place approximately 1 Tbsp each of chicken & cheese mixture onto center of wonton. Use water to seal edges and fold one corner diagonally onto another corner.

Brush wonton with egg white.
Press into breadcrumb mixture. Repeat on opposite side.
Repeat. Makes approximately 20-25 Buffalo Blasts depending on how much you fill each wonton.
Fry in oil until golden brown. Flip wonton and repeat on opposite side. Approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

Let me know how it goes if you give this a try! I also have a copycat recipe of Cheesecake Factory's Chicken Bellagio. I haven't taken pictures of the process yet, though.

Anyway, have a happy rest of the week!
